Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Busca Licitações processes, why, with whom it is shared and how you can exercise your rights, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018 — LGPD) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK, the GDPR. Last updated: October 23, 2026. The Portuguese version prevails in case of divergence.

2. What data we process
- No registration is needed. We do not ask for your name, e-mail or ID number to use the site.
- Technical access data (IP address, date and time, browser, page visited), processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver pages, prevent abuse and meet the log-retention duty of Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (Law 12,965/2014).
- Search terms, counted in aggregate with no link to the person who searched. The most frequent terms may appear on the home page as "popular searches", after an automatic filter.
- Cookies and local storage, described in section 4.
- Messages you send us by e-mail or WhatsApp, used only to reply.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Operation, security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest and legal obligation;
- Aggregate audience measurement with anonymized IP (Google Analytics) — legitimate interest;
- Advertising (Google AdSense) — personalized ads only with your consent; without it, ads are not personalized;
- Answering messages and requests — at the data subject's request.
4. Cookies and local storage
On your first visit, a notice asks whether you accept advertising cookies. Until you accept, the site tells Google that personalized advertising is denied (Consent Mode). You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. Technical data passes through the providers that run the site: Google (advertising and measurement), Cloudflare (content delivery and security) and Railway (hosting). These providers may process data outside Brazil, with the safeguards provided for in Article 33 of the LGPD.
6. Retention
Only as long as needed: search terms are kept as aggregate counts; access logs for the legal period; messages while the request is handled and for any legal obligations.
7. Your rights
You may request confirmation of and access to your data, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or, in the EEA/UK, with your local supervisory authority.
8. Tender data
Tender information is public, obtained from the PNCP, and may include agency names, tax IDs and contract details — all of mandatory publication under Brazilian law.
9. Children
The site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.
10. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
